Baltimore ePortfolios

Spring 2001

These pages were created by 6th grade students at the Park School of Baltimore. The content comes from an interdisciplinary course on Baltimore taught by language arts, social studies, math, science, and visual arts teachers at Park School. Each student's "eportfolio" includes an art page, a science page, a biography of someone associated with Baltimore, and in some cases, scale drawings of buildings in the historic Mount Vernon neighborhood. The pages were assembled in Tech class. Each student learned how to use a digital camera and a scanner. They had to find external links that were credible and related in some way to the topics on their pages. All of the artwork on each page is original so that students would not violate copyright laws. This project represents nearly three months of hard work and we are all very proud of what the students accomplished!

Although each page was carefully edited by at least one teacher, please remember that this reflects the work of each individual 6th grade student.
