We are studying Baltimore in three classes; science, language arts/ social studies and technology. We first started learning about Baltimore in LA/SS when we started to read the autobiography 'The Narrative of Frederick Douglass '.   We then started reading a lot of books with information on Baltimore. We also used the Internet. We all studied different things for our LA/SS project. I did mine on the Dove and the Ark, two boats that came from Ireland to Maryland. On these boats were a lot of passengers and the trip was six weeks long. In science we took water samples from a creek called Moore's Branch Creek. From that we made graphs to see whether the creek was healthy. We did tests to find the water and air temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, how turbid the water is and the number of macro invertebrates.
