Course-Specific Resources for Middle School

MidLink Magazine's "Citing Your Sources" is an excellent online resource for learning about copyright issues and how to cite online sources. The site includes links to information about current copyright law, sample letters you can use to ask for permission to use a copyrighted source, and links about how to cite online resources based on the ALA format. Any student or teacher planning to use the Internet for research should check out this link first.

You can print out a copy of a web page credibility checklist to help you decide whether to use a particular web page as a research resource (requires Adobe Acrobat Reader )

NoodleTools.Com is a good resource for helping you plan an online research strategy (using NoodleQuest ) and for creating an MLA-formatted bibliography (NoodleBib ).

This site is coordinated and maintained by Samira Saliba Phillips, Middle School Coordinator of Computer/Technology Education. The contents of linked sites do not necessarily reflect the opinions of the Park School. Send comments and suggestions for links to sphillips@parkschool.net
